Richard John Oelrich
In 2003 I was preparing to move and had donated a grand piano to a friend of mine. She needed help, so a friend of hers came to see the piano and then began making arrangements to move the piano. It was Richard John Oelrich, who only introduced himself as Dick. He looked like an old long haired hippy with long gray hair and a full beard that was salt and pepper. With his rounded face and rosy cheeks and white/gray hair he reminded me of Santa. When I commented about that, Richard said, that he had been asked to play the roll of Santa before. Richard volunteered to help me with moving, and he did and worked hard, he was most helpful and behaved, well, like a gentleman.
Richard John, shared that he had been in federal prison, but was not accurate in telling why he went to prison. (That, I found out later from his roommate; more on that another day.)
Richard John was involved in the manufacturing and intent to use "ricin", a highly toxic substance made from caster beans. On October 25, 1995, Richard John was convicted of Biological Weapons Anti-Terrorism Act(BWAT)of 1989 charges. The amount of biological agent that was produced could have killed 100 people if effectively delivered. "The plot", was to kill a Deputy US Marshall and a Sheriff who had previously served papers.
To verify this is original content: I hold in my hands a copy of Richard John Oelrich's marriage licenses to Arlene Kathryn Herzog of the county of Douglas and the state of Minnesota on November 18th 1961. I also hold a copy of Richard John's certificate of birth (dated February 1st 1940), county of Todd, village of Bertha, state of Minnesota, plus various other copies of documents. All copies that I am the holder of were given to me by Richard John Oelrich.
